Operation Gospel was founded in the year 2000 by Gene Soon Woo. It was formed to give people a greater understanding about God. Operation Gospel, also tries to do God's will to help the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick, and the prisoner. It is based on the scriptures in the Gospel of Matthew 25:31-46. The book of Poems and Scriptures was written by Gene between January 1989 and April 2008. The book is filled with rhyme, imagery, and a glimpse of God few people have ever seen. The book reveals God's great love for mankind. There is more to come about Operation Gospel, but for now, I hope that you enjoy the book. About the Author: Gene Soon Woo was born in Houston, Texas on January 31, 1959 of Chinese descent. Believed in God as a young child. Accepted Jesus Christ at age 16. Attended Houston Baptist University. Received God's call to do the work of the gospel on January 15, 1986. Member Chinese Baptist Church. Gene also plays tennis and has a cat named Hunter.
The name, Gene Soon Woo, in Chinese means King of China. At age 4, he was nicknamed Sonny. Sonny Woo. Sonny means Son. Son of Woo. Woo, in the English dictionary, means "to court a girl with intent to marry - love". Son of Love.
